Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

 

These Terms and Conditions apply to all prize draws operated by HIGH PRIZE LTD (t/a GoodGood Giving). Please read them carefully before entering.

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 In these Terms and Conditions:
(a) “Closing Date” means the time and date when a Prize Draw will close, as detailed on the respective Prize Draw Page.
(b) “Prize Draw” means any prize draw operated by the Promoter, as described in clause 2.2.
(c) “Prize Draw Page” means the webpage on the Website that describes the respective Prize Draw.
(d) “Draw Date” means the date when the Winner will be selected in accordance with clause 6.1, as detailed on the respective Prize Draw Page.
(e) “Entry” or “Entries” means an entry or entries submitted into a Prize Draw.
(f) “Entry Fee” means the donation amount paid to enter a Prize Draw, as detailed on the respective Prize Draw Page.
(g) “Opening Date” means the time and date when a Prize Draw opens, as detailed on the respective Prize Draw Page.
(h) “Prize” means the prize offered in a Prize Draw, as detailed on the respective Prize Draw Page.
(i) “Winner” means the individual selected as the winner of a Prize Draw.
(j) “Website” means www.goodgoodgiving.org.

2. THE PROMOTER

2.1 The Promoter is HIGH PRIZE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 11766898) with its registered office at 102 Fulham Palace Road, London, England, W6 9PL.
2.2 The Promoter operates prize draws (“Prize Draws”) via the Website, resulting in the allocation of a Prize in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

3. A PRIZE DRAW

3.1 Each Prize Draw will have a dedicated Prize Draw Page on the Website.
3.2 Each Prize Draw Page will specify the:
(a) Prize;
(b) Entry Fee;
(c) Opening Date;
(d) Closing Date;
(e) Draw Date; and
(f) if applicable, the name of any charity that will receive a donation and how that donation will be calculated.
3.3 Each Prize Draw will be open from its Opening Date to its Closing Date.
3.4 The Promoter will make a donation to a named charity as stated on each Prize Draw Page.

4. HOW TO ENTER

4.1 To enter a Prize Draw, participants may:
(a) enter for free via the ‘No Purchase Necessary’ entry route as described on the Website; or

(b) make a donation payment and submit an online entry form on the Website by the Closing Date.
4.2 No purchase is necessary to enter any Prize Draw.
4.3 Conditions for free entry:
(a) One free entry per person per Prize Draw.
(b) Entries must follow all instructions detailed on the Website.
4.4 Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted, and joint submissions are not permitted.
4.5 All Entries must be received by the Promoter by the Closing Date. Late Entries are automatically disqualified.
4.6 By submitting an Entry, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

4.8 You are responsible for ensuring your contact details are correct and up to date.
4.9 Entries cannot be returned.
4.10 The Promoter is not responsible if it cannot contact a Winner due to incorrect or outdated contact information.

5. ELIGIBILITY

5.1 Prize Draws are open to individuals aged 18 years or over.
5.2 The following persons are not eligible to enter:
(a) employees of the Promoter or its group companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter who are professionally connected with the Prize Draw;
(c) professional advisers or others connected with the operation of the Website or any Prize Draw;
(d) immediate family members or household members of any person listed above.
5.3 The Promoter will not accept Entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by a computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk.
5.4 The Promoter may require proof of eligibility.
5.5 You are responsible for ensuring your participation complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

6. SELECTION OF WINNER

6.1 The Winner will be selected as follows:
(a) all valid Entries will be entered into a random draw;
(b) a computer process using a random number generator will select the Winner;
(c) the first Entry drawn will be the Winner.
6.2 The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. THE PRIZE

7.1 The Prize will be detailed on the respective Prize Draw Page.
7.2 The Promoter is not responsible for any incidental expenses, including taxes, insurance, or personal costs.
7.3 Where the Prize includes travel:
(a) travel insurance, transfers, meals, spending money and personal expenses are not included unless stated;
(b) the Winner and companion(s) must meet all travel requirements, including valid passports and visas;
(c) all travellers must depart and return together on the same itinerary;
(d) dates cannot be altered once confirmed.
7.4 The Promoter may specify a deadline by which the Prize must be taken.
7.5 Where a Prize involves a fixed event, the Winner must be available on the specified date(s).
7.6 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a Prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary.
7.7 Prizes are non-negotiable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
7.8 Any participant or Winner must comply with all instructions, itineraries, and applicable laws or rules.
7.9 Prize specifications may vary from any promotional imagery or descriptions.

8. CLAIMING THE PRIZE

8.1 The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the Winner using the details provided.
8.2 If the Winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours or fails to claim their Prize, the Prize will be forfeited and another Winner will be selected.
8.3 Before awarding a Prize, the Promoter may require the Winner to:
(a) provide proof of identity and age; and
(b) verify ownership or authorisation of the payment method used.
8.4 Failure to meet verification requirements may result in disqualification.
8.5 Prizes cannot be claimed by third parties without written approval from the Promoter.
8.6 The Promoter accepts no responsibility if a Winner is unable to accept their Prize for reasons outside the Promoter’s control.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

9.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by the Promoter’s negligence.
9.2 Subject to 9.1, the Promoter accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury resulting from participation in any Prize Draw or use of a Prize.
9.3 The Promoter will not be responsible for technical failures, postal delays, or other issues beyond its reasonable control.
9.4 The Website may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance or technical reasons.

10. OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

10.1 All Entries and related materials become the property of the Promoter upon receipt.

11. DATA PROTECTION

11.1 The Promoter will process personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

12. BREACH OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

12.1 The Promoter reserves the right to void or disqualify any Entry that breaches these Terms.
12.2 The Promoter may exclude any individual whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of a Prize Draw.

13. GENERAL

13.1 The Promoter may suspend, cancel or amend a Prize Draw where necessary.
13.2 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
13.3 The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
