About the prize draw

At GoodGood Giving, we raise money for charity by giving anyone the chance to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences in return for their donation.

For the fifth year running, we’ve teamed up with Kevin Richardson, known as The Lion Whisperer, and the Kevin Richardson Foundation (KRF) to offer you and a guest the chance to join Kevin and his rescued lions at the sanctuary, embark on a thrilling safari, and explore the magic of Cape Town.

By entering this draw, you’re not just in with a shot of winning – you’re directly supporting KRF’s mission to ensure the long-term survival of lions and other wildlife.

How to enter

Select your entries and you’re in the draw – the more entries you choose, the greater your chances of winning.

The Lion Whisperer draw opened on Monday, 27 October 2025 and closes at midnight on Monday, 16 February 2026. The winner will be drawn within 48 hours of the closing date and contacted by phone and email.

They will be announced on our website and social channels once the prize has been accepted.

Past Winner Highlights

Áron Besenyei, from Budapest, Hungary, was the winner of our 2024 Lion Whisperer prize in support of The Kevin Richardson Foundation. Áron shared the once-in-a-lifetime experience with his brother.

Their adventure took them from rhino collaring at Mongena Game Lodge to meeting the Lion Whisperer himself, Kevin Richardson, before heading on to explore the Kruger wilderness and the breathtaking beauty of Cape Town. Áron described the trip as “fairytale-like” – a dream finally realised.

The Kevin Richardson Foundation exists to ensure a future for lions and other vulnerable wildlife. With lions edging closer to the critically endangered list, its work is more urgent than ever.
